Before purchasing tickets please note:

Tickets are none refundable and cannot be exchanged for alternative dates once booking is made.

Gentleshaw is a very small outdoor sanctuary.

Limited facilities for picnics within the wildlife centre.

As per government advice, a one way system will be in place. You may walk around the small sanctuary as many times as you wish.

Please use hand sanitising stations provided.

Please adhere to social distancing recommendations.

Please avoid touching Windows/barriers.

Staff may be wearing PPE and will be observed carrying out extra cleaning regimes.

Cash donations can be left in any donation box.

Please do not attend if you feel unwell.

If you have additional needs, please contact us for information before purchasing your ticket.

The tearoom, play area, mini train, mini golf and garden centre toilet facilities are operated by Fletchers Garden Centre. Please contact the garden centre for information on these restrictions. 01785 851 057.

Open 11:00 -4:30 Daily excluding Tuesday outside school holidays.

A £1.00 handling charge is added to all purchases. This is to cover the additional costs incurred with setting up a ticket selling system.

What To Do After Purchasing Tickets & Upon Arrival.
Once you have made your purchase. Sit back and wait for your day.

Your ticket is valid for entrance on the day that you book. You can arrive anytime after 11am, last admission will be 3:30pm. You are free to go around as many times as you like and stay as long as you wish.

Please use the car park at the front, side or rear of the Garden Centre.
Enter through the main entrance to Fletchers Garden Centre adhering to the social distancing rules in place and following the one way system.
Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre is located opposite the train and play area at the rear of the garden centre.

Proceed to the entrance window where a member of staff will be located, in the event that nobody is present please use the bell facility.

There will be a hand sanitiser station located at the entrance, you will be required to use this before you enter. Additional hand sanitisers will be located around the Wilidlife Centre, you are encouraged to use these if required.

If there is a queue please observe social distancing rules as outlined by the UK government.
You will be asked for your name and number of tickets booked. This will then be cross checked with our records for visitors attending on that day.
You will then be directed into the Wildlife Centre.
